Overview

In many parts of the world temperatures are rising and droughts are becoming more severe.  These phenomena have been linked to human-caused climate change.  The Bolivian Andes are on the frontlines of climate change, where warming temperatures and unpredictable climate patterns have affected livelihoods and wellbeing, at times culminating in conflict over shrinking water supplies.  An organization called TERRA is working in the Bolivian Altiplano to provide help to rural communities whose livelihoods have been affected by climate change.
